Simulation and Performance Evaluation of Distributed Sample-Based Acquisition Technique for DS/CDMA

چکیده

The distributed sample based acquisition (DSA) is one of the fast and robust systems for the synchronization of long PN codes in DS/CDMA environments. In DSA systems the transmitter samples and sends the state of its long shift register generator (SRG), in a distributed manner, over short period PN sequence called as igniter sequence. Receiver detects and applies the state samples to correct the state of its long SRG. In this paper, we present the simulation results of the DSA scheme for a long PN code of length 2^15-1.The performance of the DSA is evaluated in the presence of AWGN and compared with that of the Serial Search Acquisition (SSA) scheme.
